Jessica 2.0 {he, we, me}

I haven’t blogged in a while, so better late than never…right? ha!  I have been busy, busy, busy with work, motherhood, being a wifey, and coaching volleyball a night or two a week.  I also lead a bible study every Tuesday and am doing two other bible studies on top of that…and as of late I have been practicing with my family’s gospel group for our annual MidAmerica Gospel Music Association concert.  {I also I have also been struggling with migraines, but ptL that the chiropractor has been helping tremendously!} With being so busy it is easy to get distracted and get stuck on ME instead of putting HE and WE before ME. I am an only child as well, so I really struggle with not putting ME first. We sang at a church in STL last weekend and the preacher gave this verse and told us to SIP {Sow In Peace} “Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.” James 3:18. He then challenged us to get our priorities straight with HE {God}, then WE {others}, then ME {self}. After that he gave us three words to live by THANKFUL, HELPFUL, MINDFUL and if you straighten out your priorities and think of these three words then you can be a peacemaker who reaps a righteous harvest! I am going to put JESSICA 2.0 {much like “Jessica 31” but instead of focusing on motherhood/marriage I will focus on giving and others} in motion this weekend by using “Share Some Joy” from JoyFM.

    and you’re right. priorities are so important. if you don’t prioritize to prioritize, then you’ll get overwhelmed and not get anything done. been learning that a lot lately. looking forward to future posts!
    also, it’s always good to find other believers! i actually have a link up on my blog just for christian women lifestyle bloggers if you’re interested. it’s called “quite the bloggers!”
