Husband Turned Father

You and Me” -DMB
want to pack your bags something small
take what you need & we disappear
without a trace, we’ll be gone, gone
The moon & the stars follow the car
& then when we get to the ocean,
we’re going to take a boat to the end of the world…
all the way to the end of the world
oh and when the kids are old enough
we gonna teach them to flyyyyyyy

you & me together we can do anything, baby
you & me together yes, yes
you & me together we can do anything, baby
You & me together yes, yes

You & I we’re not tied to the ground,
not falling but rising like, rolling around
eyes closed above the roof tops
eyes closed we’re gonna spin through the stars
our arms wide as the sky, we gonna ride the blue
all the way to the end of the world,
to the end of the world

oh and when the kids are old enough
we gonna teach them to flyyyyyyy

(chorus)
you & me together could do anything, baby
you & me together yes, yes
you & me together we can do anything baby
You & me toghter yes, yes

we can always look back at what we did
always remembering you & me baby
But right now it’s you and me forever girl
you know we could do better than anything that we did
you know that you and me we could do anything

My husband is my everything. Without him I couldn’t and wouldn’t survive. He has taught me so much about myself and life. He surpasses everything I think I deserve and what I thought God would send me in a spouse. I feel like together we can really do anything we set our minds to. When we decided to start a family I had no doubt in my mind how great of a father he would be. I knew he would lead our family to fear the Lord, I knew he would be a wonderful role model, and I knew he would work hard for us because he is a man of integrity and walks securely (Proverbs 10:9). When the Lord blessed us with Rypken 7 months ago all of my expectations were greatly exceeded!!! Chris not only works hard at providing for our family, he works hard at being an involved father, and he works hard at keeping that spark in our marriage. He leads by example and inspires me everyday to be a better woman, wife, and mother. When we face adversity he is the first one to jump the hurdle and pull us to a resolution. He is the anchor to our family and the wind in our sails. I am looking forward to all the memories that await us and thank our Heavenly Father for sending him to me and allowing us to make a loving family together.

Happy Father’s Day Christopher…
You and me together, we can do anything…We will teach Ryp to fly!
