Easter Recap {in photos}

 You rolled the stone away and now we wait for you to return again.
Leading worship for Maundy Thursday service at my church, New Heights.
I kicked off my Easter weekend leading worship for my church’s Maundy Thursday service. The Holy Spirit was hard a work and I am blessed to have been part of such a moving message.

(please worship as you watch the video below)
Rocky’s message at Maundy Thursday’s service was “I am crucified with Christ…” Before we took communion, we each had a card to pray over, put our names on, and then nailed it on the cross. Such a great way to visualize Christ dying for our sins.

Friday, we drove down to surprise my innies for their 45th wedding anniversary. I am so very thankful to have a wonderful second family!

Hard to believe Rypken was this small last Easter. Time really does fly once you become a parent!

I ended my Easter Sunday crying my eyes out watching the last installment of The Bible series. Such a difficult moment to watch as Jesus was crucified on the cross…but so awe-inspiring to know that because He died, I might live forever in paradise with Him!!!! Are you being tortured, mocked, or bearing a cross today? Give it all to Jesus…He carries them, so we don’t have to. Thank you God for sending your only son to die on the cross and rise again, so we may have eternal life.
